Schulhof Animal Hospital's Pet Spa offers your pet a safe, comfortable and fun place to stay so you can be sure your pet isn't lonely and is well cared for.
Your pet's stay can also be enhanced with medical or wellness care as needed as well as with services such as behavioral and nutritional counseling, grooming, training, and puppy socialization.
Packages for Dogs, Cats and Exotics
Pet Spa Packages for Dogs Include:
- Meals made to order (our standard fare is IAMS Low Residue, but you may request anything or bring your own food.)
- 7x4 Single Suites and 7x7 double Suites, or cozier quarters for pets that are comfortable in smaller spaces

Pet Spa Membership for Cats Includes:
- A separate cat area with no dogs allowed (sorry Snoopy)
- Each cat receives its own Kitty Condo with a sleeping perch and a hidey house if they are feeling shy
- Access to our cats only exercise and stretch sunroom with a large picture window for bird watching and very comfy cat furniture
- Daily fresh towel service or special beds because we know our cats love to sleep on clean bedding*
- Food is Fancy Feast/IAMS Intestinal Low Residue (special meals available*)
- Snacks*, catnip*, and cuddle times*
- Exercise and Stretch Sunroom*

For both dogs and cats, we provide washable toys and bedding as well as a special identification collar for your pet. For a slight additional charge, we also offer a Go Home Fresh Bath, teeth brushing, and a day in our Pet Spa for both cats and dogs. In fact, our groomers have a high degree of expertise when it comes to grooming our feline friends. You may find that your dog or cat comes back from a stay with Schulhof Animal Hospital even more relaxed than when they arrived!
Our Pet Spa for Exotics and Pocket Pets:
Located away from the noise and bustle of our canine and feline friends, we have a special climate-adjusted residence for pocket pets and exotics. We will keep your pet fed, clean, and comfortable in your own favorite containment environment and provide human care and company. For our feathered friends, extra tunes are on us.
The Particulars
To make certain your pet is in good health our trained staff will perform a complete health check as your pet arrives and prior to checkout.
We also require that all guests are up-to-date with their vaccines and require that you make a reservation for your pet.
For first time residents, we will conduct a short interview with you and your pet prior to its stay at no additional charge. This allows us to get a physical, medical and behavioral history, check on your pet's vaccine status, learn about dietary and medical needs, determine the most suitable accommodation, and acquaint you with our various services.
Grooming: Keep Your Pet Looking Good and Smelling Great
Proper grooming is essential for keeping your pet comfortable and ensuring its skin and fur are healthy. So why not let Schulhof Animal Hospital's grooming salon provide your pet with some healthy pampering?
Because we believe grooming is important to your pet's health we take it very seriously, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be fun or feel good. Our salon has the latest products, technology and equipment to ensure that your pet emerges from his or her appointment feeling and looking great.
Our grooming staff is also highly experienced in a wide range of grooming techniques, including breed-specific scissor cuts, and is uniquely experienced in the grooming of cats.
We also have hydraulic lift tables and walk-up tubs for your pet's safety; a Hydrosurge bathing system that massages as it deeply cleanses the skin and fur; and all-natural and organic shampoos and conditioners. We also offer grooming consultations with one of our highly trained and experienced stylists prior to your pet's appointment to review your pet's grooming needs.
Basic service packages include Bathe and Fluff, Bathe and Brush, or Bathe and Trim. We also offer a number of A-La-Carte services that can be mixed and matched with one of our basic packages. These include teeth brushing, medicated shampoo, hypo-allergenic flea and tick shampoo, winter skin treatment, ear cleansing and plucking, paw pad treatments, nail polish and more.
Pedicures are also offered on a walk-in basis. We also have a specially formulated skunk bath in case your dog comes home after a run-in with a skunk.
Our grooming salon maintains extended hours in order to accommodate your busy schedule. In some cases you may also schedule your pet's routine medical care on the same day as a grooming appointment. Make sure to make your appointment as soon as possible in order to get your preferred time and date.
As a safety measure for all of our pets, we also require proof of vaccinations.
